Abstract

Since Dr. Frank Walsh reported a young female patient with bilateral papilledema who had been taking norethynodrel with mestranol (Enovid), the number of reports of this syndrome associated with oral contraceptive are increasing every year and might well be paid attention to. Recently the authors experienced a case pseudotumor cerebri in patient who had been on oral contraceptive (Eugynon ED: Schering) for 6 months in St. Mary´s Hospital, the Catholic Medical College and present the case with review, of literature associated with it.
